Five KD MMA Fighters Take the Cage at UNF 34
On Saturday, July 18, five KD MMA fighters step into the cage at UNF 34 in Commerce — including a title fight, one of the biggest gym contingents on the card.
The whole team is showing up
On Saturday, July 18, five KD MMA fighters walk into the cage on the same night. Five bouts out of sixteen. Nearly a third of the card carries a KD MMA athlete, one of the largest single-gym contingents of the evening. And one of those five is fighting for a title.
This is what a room full of work looks like. Different weights, different styles, same gym, same corner. We are proud of every one of them.
What is UNF 34
UNF, Up Next Fighting, is an LA-area promotion billed as “The Future of the Fight Game.” UNF 34 runs Saturday, July 18, 2026, at The Commerce Casino & Hotel, 6131 Telegraph Rd, Commerce, CA 90040. Doors open at 4:00 PM and the first fight starts at 5:00 PM. The card features sixteen bouts plus a submission-grappling superfight, and includes four championship fights. Tickets start at $85. All ages welcome.
The five KD MMA fighters
- Rafayel Ktikyan vs Brendan Farnsworth — for the vacant Rising Stars Lightweight Championship. A title on the line.
- Hamzeh Trad vs Adam Penunuri — pro MMA, featherweight.
- Khachik Vardanian vs Daniel Huynh.
- Pargev Khachatrian vs Enrique Marte — pro MMA. Pargev is also a KD MMA wrestling coach: a two-time California State MMA champion and five-time UNF champion. On July 18 he trades the whistle for the walkout.
- Ibragim Ibragimov vs Aleko Sagliani — pro MMA.
Why this one matters
A gym is measured by the people who put their name on a poster. Five names is a statement. It says the training is real, the room pushes hard, and the coaches lead from the front — Pargev included. When a coach fights on the same card as his athletes, everyone in the building learns something.
A championship belt in the mix only raises the stakes. Rafayel steps in with gold on the line. The rest step in to win. We want them heard.
