We don't sell your information. We don't profile minors. We honor Global Privacy Control. This page explains exactly what we collect, why, and how to ask us to delete it.
KD MMA is a three-location martial arts academy in Los Angeles County, California, founded by Karen Darabedyan. Our locations are Glendale (flagship — 555 Riverdale Dr Suite #C), Montrose (2131 Verdugo Blvd), and Northridge (17048 Devonshire St).
For the purposes of the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”), KD MMA is a “business” that collects personal information from California residents who visit this website or train at our gyms.
For privacy questions, the responsible contact is Vahagn Ter-Sarkisyan, on behalf of KD MMA, reachable at trial@kdmma.com with subject line “Privacy request”.
We try to collect as little as possible.
Your name, email, and phone when you submit the trial form or sign up at the front desk; membership and attendance details once you enroll.
Basic, privacy-preserving analytics (page views, device type) via cookieless Cloudflare analytics. We do not collect biometric identifiers, precise geolocation, government IDs, or sensitive demographic data through this website.
We use personal information for a limited, defined set of purposes: responding to trial requests, operating memberships and classes, safety and incident records, and required legal/accounting functions.
We do not use your information to build behavioral advertising profiles, and we do not sell or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined under the CPRA.
“Sale” and “share” are used here as defined under Cal. Civ. Code §§1798.140(ad) and (ah). We do not sell or share your personal information.
If you are a California resident, you have rights to know, access, correct, delete, and limit the use of personal information we hold about you.
To exercise any of these rights, email trial@kdmma.com with subject line “Privacy request — [right you're exercising]”. We will verify your identity (typically by confirming details we already have on file) and respond within 45 days, or notify you if we need an additional 45-day extension.
You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We may require written authorization.
This website honors the Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) browser signal. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out of any sale or sharing of personal information for that browser session, even though our default is that we do not sell or share.
You can install GPC support via supported browsers (Brave, Firefox, DuckDuckGo browser) or browser extensions. We do not require you to create an account to send a GPC signal.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through this website. Our trial form is intended to be completed by a parent or legal guardian on behalf of any prospective student under 18. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information directly from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete it.
In accordance with the California Age-Appropriate Design Code Act, we do not knowingly profile, target, or retain personal information of users under 18 for behavioral advertising. We do not engage in targeted advertising on this site for any user. Minors enrolled in our youth programs have their attendance and progress tracked only for the purposes of operating the class — never for advertising, never sold to third parties.
Photo/video consent for minors is opt-in only, collected on a form separate from the liability waiver, and reversible at any time by emailing trial@kdmma.com.
We use cookieless Cloudflare Web Analytics. We do not run Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or third-party advertising trackers on this site.
Mat-side cameras stream on YouTube during posted class hours. California is a two-party consent state — all members sign a video acknowledgment at enrollment, and minors require signed parental consent before any identifiable footage is publicly archived. See our Safety page for the full camera policy.
We keep personal information only as long as needed to operate the gym and meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymize it. We use a small set of third-party processors (gym-management platform, form handler, email) under their respective data terms.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we limit what we collect to limit what is ever at risk.
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date and a homepage notice for at least 30 days.
